Verification FAQs

Is the verification system available 24/7?
Yes. The certificate verification portal is publicly accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — no account or login is required. Employers, regulators and procurement teams can verify any certificate at any time.
What does "Expired" mean — was the training real?
An "Expired" status means the certificate was genuine and issued by Compliance College, but has passed its renewal date. The qualification details shown were accurate at the time of issue. Whether an expired certificate is acceptable depends on your specific regulatory requirements — many qualifications (e.g. First Aid at Work) must be renewed to remain valid.
What does "Revoked" mean?
A revoked certificate has been cancelled by Compliance College, typically due to: malpractice in assessment, data correction (e.g. duplicate issuance), fraudulent application, or regulatory requirement. A revoked certificate is not valid for employment or compliance purposes. The revocation reason and date are shown on the verification page.
I can't find a certificate that should exist — what should I do?
First, double-check the Certificate ID on the original document — IDs are case-sensitive and follow the format CC-YYYY-DISC-NNNNN. If you believe the certificate is genuine but it's not showing, please contact our certificates team at certificates@compliancecollege.co.uk with the Certificate ID and the candidate's full name. We aim to respond within 1 working day.
